The Checkpoint™ and Breathscan™ tests come in two different levels of detection, 0.02% and 0.08%. We recommend the 0.02% level to agencies testing for zero tolerance programs. The 0.02% level is the lowest level of detection of any disposable breath alcohol test. The 0.08% level is popular for employee testing and other situations were a higher threshold level is required.
Directions for Use
The Checkpoint™ and Breathscan™ alcohol tests are the simplest disposable breath alcohol tests to use - simply crush the test between fingers and blow for 12 seconds

How to Read
Before
After
Results are ready in 2 minutes, by a colour change from yellow to blue or green. The tests have a shelf life of up to four years, with the lowest detection level of any disposable breath test and a pass/fail at two different levels 0.02% or 0.08%.
Alco-Screen™
The Alco-Screen™ saliva test strip from Chematics provides a straight forward approach to saliva alcohol testing.
The Alco-Screen™ has a shelf life of one year and show quantitative results by comparing colour change. They can also test beverages for presence of alcohol and are all individually foil-packaged.
How to Use
The user places the test strip pad directly into the mouth to wet it with saliva. After 4 minutes, if the subject’s blood alcohol concentration is greater than 0.02%, the pad will turn green.
How to Read
The more alcohol present in the saliva, the darker the bluish-green colour will be. Colour standards printed on each foil package indicate the intensity of green colour for alcohol levels of 0.02%, 0.04%, 0.08%, and 0.30%.
Compare the colour change against the colour standard to estimate alcohol levels and if no alcohol is present, the colour remains unchanged.
